Crown Chakra
FORMULATION: Nettle: Good source of iron, magnesium, calcium, healthy blood, bones, joints, skin.
Alfalfa: Considered the king of herbs. The roots can grow 30 – 60 feet dep to pick up minerals and water other plants can’t reach. Rich source of vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals. Its trace mineral content is probably what makes it valuable for the pituitary because trace minerals deficiencies effect this gland.
Oat Straw: Helps to calm the nervous system. Promote healthy bones, joints, and skin.
The seventh chakra is our connection to our spiritual nature and our capacity to allow our spirituality to become an integral part of our physical lives and guide us.
Location: Top of the head Energy connection to the physical body: The seventh chakra is the entry point for human life-force, which pours endlessly into the human energy system, from the greater universe, from God or the Tao. The energy system of the seventh chakra influences that of the major body systems: the central nervous system, the muscular system, and the skin.
Energy connection to the emotional/mental body: The seventh chakra contains the energy that generates devotion, inspirational and prophetic thoughts, transcendent ideas, and mystical connections.
Symbolic/perceptual connection: The seventh chakra contains the purest form of the energy of grace or prana. This chakra warehouses the energy generated by prayer and meditation and safeguards our capacity for symbolic sight.
Primary Fears: Fears relating to spiritual issues such as the “dark night of the soul”; fears of spiritual abandonment, loss of identity, and loss of connection with life and people around us.
Primary strengths: Faith in the presence of the Divine, and in all that faith represents, within one’s life – such as inner guidance, insight into healing, and quality of trust that eclipses ordinary human fears and devotion.
Sefirot/Sacrament connection: The sefirah connected to the seventh chakra is Keter, which means “crown”. Keter represents “nothingness” the energy from which physical manifestation begins.
Sacred Truth: Motivates us to seek an intimate connection to the Divine in everything we do.
